Sophie Petzal agent: Fay Davies
Sophie is this year’s recipient of the Peter Ustinov Scriptwriting Prize (for her original television script SANCTIONED) which will be presented at this year’s International Emmys in New York.
Sophie was a joint winner of BBC Writer’s Room ‘All Mixed Up’ sitcom competition with her script THE GOD COMMITTEE which was subsequently optioned by BBC Comedy.
Sophie is part of this year’s BBC Producer’s Academy and shadowing production on a variety of in-house shows. She is currently Assistant Script Editing on Wolfblood Series 2 for CBBC.
Sophie has contributed to writing on E20 for the BBC and has recently been commissioned with other young writers to write PRESS PLAY for MAC Birmingham and the National Youth Theatre.
Sophie wrote three episode of a new pre-school show THE ADVENTURES OF ABNEY AND TEAL for Ragdoll Productions/CBBC.
