Deborah Levy agent: Katie Haines
Deborah is an acclaimed novelist, playwrights and commentator. Her first novel BEAUTIFUL MUTANTS (Vintage), was published when she was 27, followed by SWALLOWING GEOGRAPHY, THE UNLOVED (Vintage) and BILLY and GIRL (Bloomsbury).
Deborah regularly lectures, contributes to academic journals, writes features on contemporary culture as well as book and theatre reviews for The Independent, The Guardian, Time Out, The Times, The New Statesman and Vogue. She was Fellow in Creative Arts at Trinity College, Cambridge from 1989-1991.
Currently Deborah is writing for BBC R3 and wrote FREUD: CASE HISTORIES for BBC R4. Her latest novel, SWIMMING HOME, was published by And Other Stories in 2011.
