Greg Hall agent: Fay Davies
Greg’s work as a writer/director has demanded attention from the very start of his career. His second year documentary TRAINING (2002) screened at the DFG’s “Serious About Shorts” International Festival, and his graduate script FRONT (2003) won the CARLTON TV Student Bursary Prize.
Graduating at twenty-two, he shot his ultra low budget feature debut, THE PLAGUE in 2004 which garnered critical acclaim on an international scale. The film was screened globally and won: the inaugural Katrin Cartlidge Foundation Scholarship which was chosen by British director Mike Leigh (10th Sarajevo Film Festival), Best Director Award (Portobello Film Festival 2004) and the Audience Award for Best Feature (Raindance East Film Festival 2005).
Greg’s second feature was commissioned by the Manchester International Festival, a joint commission with the contemporary classical composer, Steve Martland, entitled KAPITAL (2007). The film premiered in Manchester on 4th July 2007.
Greg’s third feature film, SSDD, which he shot independently on a micro budget was released last year whist also working on his adaptation of Ian Bones' cult autobiography, "Bash The Rich: True Life Confessions Of An Anarchist In The UK”.
Greg is currently attached to his fourth low budget feature project, written by Will Smith, 4 CITIES: LONDON for Sums Films.
